Hi, my name is Michaela and I’m UI/UX Designer
I'm passionate about creating digital experiences that are both beautiful and user-friendly. I love the challenge of transforming complex ideas into intuitive interfaces.
Over the past 10 years, I've collaborated with a wide range of clients and marketing agencies. This diverse experience has given me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of how different disciplines work together to achieve brand and marketing goals.
While design is a huge part of my life, I believe in finding balance. Travel, books, and video games allow me to recharge, gain new perspectives, and fuel my creativity. I like to learn new things that allow me to evolve both personally and professionally.

If you are interested, here is my full story. If not, just contact me already! 😄
My first dive into the world of digital creation was around 2007 through my interest in blogging and online gaming. I think I was around 12 years old, when I decided to conquer the virtual worlds with the mighty MS Paint by my side.
After hours spent on design forums and blogs, while following tutorial articles (yes, this was the time when Youtube was still wearing its diapers), I realized it's time to upgrade. So I began to learn more sophisticated tools - Photofilter, Gimp and Photoshop. This lead me to my first custom designs for my blog and super badass gaming profiles.
In 2010, I enrolled in the High School of Printing and Publishing, where I studied Design for digital media, so I could turn my hobby into a career. Right after finishing the school I got my job at GoUP Online Agency.
From 2015 to 2018, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, while I was simultaneously employed in GoUP.
In 2016, I got my self-employment license, allowing me to spread my creative wings and collaborate with a wider range of clients and agencies.
Fast forward to today, and I'm still that same design-passionate kid at heart, always eager to learn, explore, and create. Just a bit older and (hopefully) wiser. My experiences have taught me the importance of understanding people to solve their problems, and creating experiences that are both beautiful and functional.
That's what I strive to do every single day and I can’t wait to see where it leads me next.
